Rehearsal Dinner Ideas

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has suggestions for a restaurant for the rehearsal dinner? Anywhere in the Lahaina area and north up to Kapalua. I'll probably have less than 15 people. So far, i've only looked at Hula Grill. Trying to keep it on the not too expensive end. Thanks for your feedback.

I've been to the Hula Grill and it's always great. Lealani's on the Beach- right across the way is a great choice too.

We're having ours at Aloha Mixed Plate as we're looking to go REALLY inexpensive. We have about 30 people going and that adds up fast. It'll be a fun and super casual dinner and then the next night we'll get all fancied up. I thought it was a nice way to mix things up. And they also have more traditional Hawaiian fare vs. regular American food.

Hi!

We're having our rehearsal dinner at BJs Chicago Pizzaria. We eat there every time we visit Maui and it's such a nice place right on Front Street. They have live music at night so you don't even have to pay for entertainment! :)

I've always found Hula Grill a bit crowded and noisy. The food's alright but I like Leilanis much better for food! Plus they have their upstairs dining area!

Oooh, what about Dukes in Lahaina? MMMM, they have seriously nice food! YUM YUM!

We went to a luau for our rehearsal dinner, at the Wailea Marriott (we were having our ceremony on the hotel grounds). People loved it. We would have done one of the luaus up by Lahaina, but we since we were having the wedding in Wailea, we wanted to stay on the south side.

Further to everyone else's comments, I've heard really good things about Hula grill too.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
