what would i do without you all!?!?!?

So, Juan is booked. I only started with Juan and Leigh becasue everyone talked about them. Bradley is available and I love Janet's pictures AND they are at the same place - cabo surf so I am leaning toward him but now i have a few more to check out! thanks for everyone's suggestions!

ps. is it safe to assume most of us are at work and on this website ALL day?!?!LOL

I am also using Manuel Burgoin, since our WC highly recommended him. I like the way his pics look online...but make sure you whatever photog you get, you have a contract that it will actually be that photographer and not an assistant. I have heard of that happening when you arrange the services yourself as opposed to a WC doing it.

that's what we did - look at all of your options! i made a list and decided who we liked, then looked at the cost and our budget. i used Leigh, and her travel costs were built into the package price. i know her pricing has changed since i booked her, so not sure she still does that. here's a good list to start with: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...ographers.html

this isn't all of them - but it's a decent list to start with!

Not to confuse you anymore. There is also Francisco Estrada, Gilda Badillo, and Jose Lima (sp) from Cabo.

I used Gina DeContii of Imaginativestudios.com It was an overall better value since I have photography for 2 days. Never be intimidated by the pricing on the sites. Just ask not a special quote. It's great for their portofolio and 3/4 days in Cabo can be 1000. each depending upon accommodations.

every time i see the title of this thread i cringe. i mean, what's wrong with Leigh and Juan!? lol the title of the thread makes it seem like we should avoid hiring these two ... poor things. they're both members of this forum, and are probably wondering what they did wrong!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
