Appleton Rum Favors

Recommended Posts

A few months ago I read a post that a bride decided to give her guests a 200ml bottle of appleton rum. The contact person was even listed for who to get in touch with at the appleton rum estate.

I tried to get in contact with them twice but no response.

So basically...has anyone purchased 200 ml of appleton rum bottles for their wedding favors in jamaica. I would like to get them delivered to the resort and not have them send for the US to Jamaica.

Any advice or helpful news!

Kelly

Don't know if this helps any, but maybe for the AHR favors?

In the Montego Bay airport by the American Airlines gates, there are 2 liquor stores with insanely cheap prices. We grabbed half a dozen bottles of various jamaican alcohol to give as christmas gifts. I got a bottle of appleton rum there for $3.00. The more deluxe version was 50 cents more. It was a good sized smaller bottle, defitely bigger than shot sized. They even packed them in carboard boxes for the plane. Nobody at customs checked anything on the way home. My husband was pissed that he paid triple the prices at the resort gift shops.

Here is my response from Appleton. Hope it helps.

Hi Evelyn,

The case price for the miniature bottle of Appleton Estate VX is JA$16,929 for a case of 120. The next size up is a 200ml and the case price is $6,070 for a case of 24.

We will happily deliver given enough notice.

Looking forward to hearing from you and Congrats on your upcoming wedding!

Tania

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
