I'm so confused on the dress thing!!! *Please vote, poll added late

May is coming but you still have time..... I would caution you against buying a dress just to check it off your list. That's how many of us (myself included) ended up with 2 dresses.

Are there many bridal stores in your area? If not could you plan a weekend trip with you MOH somewhere to just try on dresses? Might be a fun girls weekend.

I think many people have a dress that's "the one" for them. Not all but definitely most so just take your time and try to have fun. And try on EVERYTHING, even if it looks awful on the hanger or is way out of your price range. Even if it costs too much you'll know what style to look for in a less expensive dress.

Good luck!

Wow, is that ever classy and beautiful on you! Who's the designer, by the way? Sort of looks like a Maggie dress, and since you also tried on Reece, I thought maybe it was...
Dress 1 and 3 are Demetrio's, at first his dresses were the only style's I liked then I seen some Maggie dresses

i like #5, but i am wondering if that dress is too popular now. i have seen it way too much.
I just tried the Reese on a week ago and was hesitant to try it on for that reason but told myself if I had that feeling I would get it anyway and I really do like it but just not positive.

I think #3 is the most flattering, I would like it even more with a sweet heart cut :) - you are going to look beautiful no matter which one you choose. I didn't get that "OMG" this is the dress feeling - but I think it has a lot to do with your personality. The dress I ended up getting was the most flattering and most suited my style (and it's the one i kept thinking about and comparing other dresses to). Good luck deciding :)

I'm voting for #3 but I think you should keep looking. I went to shop and spent 4 hours trying on dresses just to get an idea of what I liked and I narrowed it down to 2. Both took my breath away as I stood in front of the mirror ans you should feel the same way too. Now I just have to go back with my mom and the rest of the crew to make the final decision!

I like #1 and I would like #2 if it didn't have the strappy things. I think you could easily have them alter those off to make it strapless.

I would suggest keep on trying on different dresses, then go back and try on the ones you liked. Maybe after seeing some more options you will end up finding that "oohh yeah" dress!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
