I'm so confused on the dress thing!!! *Please vote, poll added late

Recommended Posts

I have tried on about 30 dresses and I'm really tired and confused at this point. BTW May will be here soon. For whatever reason I'm not getting that "this is the one feeling". Can somebody tell me what my problem is! Here are a few I took a picture of just because the rest of the dresses I either didn't have my camera or didn't like at all. Open for suggestions on these few. Sorry for the bad quality of pictures.

My favorites are dress #1 and dress #5, love them on you and they look they were made just for you! I never really got the "it's the one" feeling either, I think that a lot of girls don't get that. I just went with the one that flattered me the most and I thought was the prettiest. Just trust your instinct, I'm sure whichever you choose will be perfect! :)

I love #1 and #3 would get my 2nd vote. They are very flattering!!!

And I don't think you have a problem. You just have to figure out what style of dress you think you ultimately want. Do you want strapless, halter? Is there a certain material that you really like or hate? Do you want something beaded or plain?

Not everyone finds "the" dress right away. Just keep looking and you'll eventually find the one that you love.

Out of the ones that you posted, is there 1 that you really like & are leaning towards? Is there 1 that you just can't stop thinking about or really love yourself in?

HANDS DOWN #3. Its by far the most flattering on you.

And dont worry about the 'this is the one feeling'. I dont think that happens for everyone, it sure didnt happen for me and I tried on about 100 dresses. I just bought something I liked and thought flattered me. Don't stress :)

1, 3 or 5 (I like the back on 5 more than the front)...my favorite is choice #1 though, I think it's made for you.

I didn't get to try many dresses because I couldn't find dresses I like in my size to try so when i found one that fit me well and flatter my shape I ran with it. I have no regrets.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
