Yea it is nice out here and has really good schools, so when we have kids we know that they will be in good schools. We both grew up out here. I love Premium Outlets. I dont go to Katy mills that much.

I went to Shreveport with my in-laws in January to hit up the casinos... what a fun city! we tried to go to all of them, but I don't know if we succeeded. As a local, do you go much, or is it just for us tourists? wink.gif My mother-in-law wants to go back bc she's a big TrueBlood fan lol

That's a great point about schools. I think once kids are in the picture for us, we're going to have to move!

I'm a big fan of the Coach outlet :) Are you on their mailing list? On holidays they do an extra 20% off coupon.

You know I am!!! Can't bet 20% off of Coach when they are already outlet prices.

Ahahaha I really wouldn't consider myself a local. I grew up in Denver and just moved here in June. But I haven't been to the casinos yet. My fiance goes frequently though, he's very good at poker and likes to win us money. Haha. He never really does it for fun though, just for profit - kinda views it as his other job... But I'd like to go at some point!

oh yea, you said you just moved. Are you liking it in Shreveport so far? it works out nicely that your fiance is a good poker player :) that is awesome. that would be the ideal job for a lot of guys!! I know nothing about poker or any gambling really. I played the electronic roulette at the Horseshoe which is pretty foolproof. I was more there for the free drinks ;P

The free drink part IS pretty awesome!! Shreveport is ok...definitely different from Colorado but better than I expected. And I understand - I've been to a casino once and stuck to the slots. But it was still fun!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
