Hahaha, you should have! I had enough for you, your FI and all your pets!! lol
(not that you feed them people food but you get the point!) Lol
Chicken adobo is just chicken marinated over night in a mix of dark soy sauce, bit of vinegar, lotsa garlic & water.
Pancit is rice noodles with a bit of chicken and veggies done with chicken stock and soy sauce - pretty mild,
Both are Filipino staple foods!! Yummy!!

Tracy - I'm not sure if there will be any coconut cream pie left by the time you get here but I'll try!! lol

To keep this on the workout track - now today I have to work off those damn spring rolls I ate last night...not going to tell you how many I had...but let's just say it was pretty bad...and my house still smells like oil - I HATE that smell but I do love spring rolls, the one bad food I do indulge on,
I don't eat burgers (unless fresh on the BBQ) I don't eat fries or any fast food but I can eat a few spring rolls!! In my defense (because of the guilt I feel this morning) they are really small, almost bite size for me, but I have a big mouth!! HAHA

Abs and eliptical today and I think I should do some lunges for good measure, might as well suffer tomorrow for the damage I did last night!!

Hope everyone else is doing good! Not sure if I posted this or not but I did try on my dress last week and is was back to being too big (not by much)!! Yay...but I am going back on vacation for a month and last time that happened I couldn't zip it up at all when I got home!! Need to practice control this time!

mmmmmmmm!! That sounds delicious! Can you email me the recipe for all that food? FI and I are always looking for new meals (and ok, I'll admit that I'm the picky one!), or at least different ways to cook the same stuff.

And today I'm doing to do lunges and I've taken to standing on my wobble board at work and trying to do some calf raises at the same time. A little tricky when I have to type but I'm trying.

Ok first off, you have a wobble board(?) at work, and you can work out at work! that's awesome! I want that job!!

I will definitely send you the recipes - but I kind of just measure by sight and by our specific tastes...so if you do try the recipes just kind of go by what you know you and your FI like!! But I'll do them all up roughly and then email it to you!
Do you want the spring roll recipe too!! lol Really easy and FAT FREE until you fry them!! haha ;o)

yah the wobble board is fairly low profile so it isn't too much of an effort, plus I have reasonably good balance anyways. I'm at my computer a lot so I have it set up so that I can sit or stand which helps a lot! My lunges will just be standing (as opposed to walking along a hallway) so i can just close my door over lunch. Although people on my floor might not be surprised to see me doing lunges around the halls! Imagine how good the workout would be if I did lunges to the printers and back all the time!

mmmmm, now I'm getting hungry!!

LOL!! the would be so funny to see someone doing lunges to the printer, and then back to their office with their paper in the hands I can just picture it now, crying because I'm laughing so hard!!

Suzy, your food sounds sooo yumy, I have a friend who makes that type of foood on a weekly bases. I do not want the recipes, I would be afraid that's all I would want to eat!! sounds sooo good tho, I may ask you after the wedding for them lol

mmmmm... you're making me hungry with all the spring roll talk, Suzy! I'm being pretty good with food- not great, but good- but I'm starting to get huuunggrrrryyy!

I went to another aquafit class on Saturday and it was awesome- the instructor totally kicked our butts! I'll definitely try to get back a few times this week. I did a bunch of abs the other night with my exercise ball but I think I over did it cause my tummy is still sore today lol. I just really want my abs back, they used to be awesome. I think tonight I'll try to get on the elliptical and do a nice, long, low intensity workout. Keep it up everybody- we are doing great!

I will def show you guys the out come.

Do you have you dress? Would love to see it.

Yeah- you can't really fool anyone when they'll see you in your bathing suit the day before, can you? I finally found one that doesn't make me look too flat- not sure if I'll need much padding in it but I may put some small bra cups in just for support and to give it a good line, you know? I do have my dress- I'll have to get some pics to post but I'm still working on the posting a pic thing. I'll have to get on that!

Haha, I basically can't buy a bathing suit unless it has the little padding cups in them! It's so sad but I just don't fit them well otherwise half the time. Okay that and I don't have to worry about when I get a little "chilly" if you know what I mean wink.gif I'm not sure how I'll work it with my dress since I'm nearly backless!

And yes, I would get more than a few laughs if I ended up doing lunges around my office floor! LOL! But I've got to do something! Although it's hard to avoid because my upper body is fairly small, I had someone (rather rudely) tell me that I was pear-shaped the other week and I don't think I've ever been that way so I'm hoping to work it down a little to even out the digits! Got to get these thighs and butt in gear!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
