Wow- you're over half way to your goal already! You're doing great, whatever you're doing just keep it up! Don't worry, just hang in there- five pounds a month is all you need and you'll nearly be there!

I'm in! I have been on and off and now with less than 5 months - I need to be on, all the time. I have been training for a 5K to run on Dec. 31st and then a 9K in March. So I've been pretty consistent. I was frustrated today when I got on the scale and did not see a difference. My eating has even been better, but I refuse to give up!

Ladies, I need your support. Congratulations to us all!

Well I don't have any runs as soon as yours are Pattontobe, but I think FI, my sister and I are going to be signing up for either a 5km or 10km run at the end of May so I'm definitely going to be starting some training soon for that since right now I don't really run at all! We're doing some work in our basement right now so I can't even use my treadmill down there for another couple weeks but I'm all over it once we're finished - and probably just in time to run off all the yummy christmas treats that I'm looking forward to already!!!

haha I do not run at all either.. a 5 min run kills me!!! (My work out consist of toning so basically a lot of lunges and crunch's)

aww I am sorry to hear your unable to use your machine, but I am sure it'll be all worth it once the basement is done!!! You must be so excited for that.

OOhhh I envy you guys for having even the courage to sign up for such a long run, good for you guys. Is is just for a run, or is it to raise money for a cause?

It's part of the Calgary Marathon that is for diabetes. There is the full marathon length, half marathon, 10km, 4x10km (for team competition/time trials) and 5km as well. So for us it will mostly just be a run - something to work towards.

TONS of people in my company run (you'd think running was popular or something!) so that kind of sparked my attention for it and since both my sister and brother in law have been running for his work (he's a fireman and has to keep fitness levels up) I figured they'd probably want to do it too! Plus, there's nothing like a deadline to force some action, right!?

Ok ladies, I'm back on board here too! I don't know what finally clicked in today but I just don't want to be the fat girl on the beach at my wedding!! I need to be super clean with my diet - less sugar and more frequent meals and get back to the gym every morning and running with the dog every night!!

Just under 5 months to go... good luck to us all!!! :)

I finally got myself back to the gym last night and I am going again tonight! I am vowing to stick to a healthy eating plan over the holidays. I also received the South Beach challenge for the new year in their daily email - I will be sure to sign up for that on January 1st!

I've been doing my toning, but eating hasn't been going well with me, since I've had no problems with my stomach (crohn's) I can eat almost anything sorta of taking advantage of it lol. Not good tho.. may not even be able to fit into my party/TTD dress!!!

Must slow down on the junk food, but it's Xmas time they have so much good food, like the sugar cookies in the can tins.. oh my soo good.. Or Cashews. *drewl*

Ok not helping sorry!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
