Hi there. My name is Amanda and my fiance, Mike, and I are in the early stages of planning our Cabo San Lucas wedding. We just got engaged on June 22nd. I'm excited to get more information from all of you seeing as we are in need of lots of advice!!Click the image to open in full size.

Thanks for the warm welcome, girls! Do any of you know what the weather will be like in early October down in Baja?

We decided on Cabo when we vacationed there through the company we both work for last year, then again this past April with my family. We've been to Jamaica, Bahamas, Pt.Vallarta, and Dominican but nothing compares to Cabo. We love that there is so much to do yet it's still so relaxing. The one thing missing is crystal blue water and swimable beaches but we're fine with the pool!

Congrats on your engagment! Glad to have another Wisconsin girl around here (I'm from Racine), and coincidentally my sister and her family live in Eagle near Old World Wisconsin. Make sure to post your engagement story.. we love reading them!

Welcome! Cabo in October should be perfect. We were early November and it was ideal weather. In 2006 there were some hurricane scares, but it's nowhere near as big of a threat as it is on the Gulf of Mexico side.

 

What kind of venue are you thinking of? How many people? I'm sure we can help! :)

I was in Cabo for our site visit back in November, perfect weather and then got married there three weeks ago.. Again awesome weather. Isn't October the season for Whale watching? That would be the time I would want to go back..

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
