OMG Im so happy right now!!!!

Recommended Posts

OK I was JUST typing a post about how upset I was that my cat just ran away. I looked everywhere for him and couldnt find him. Well as I was typing it I could hear my other cat crying in the kitchen and I ran in there, looked out the back door and there he was!!! Im so happy right now!! My cats are so important to me ( I know I sound like a crazy cat lady) but I know I would be so upset if I lost one of them!!! OK huge sigh of relief here!!

Heres a pic of my cats with Rayden the day we brought him home from the hospital, the one farther back is Jay, the one that ran off, and the closer one is Grinder.

Laura, that's awesome news! I'm totally with you - if you're a crazy cat lady, then so am I! I took a day off work when we had to put my cat down, I was so sad, but my boss has never had pets before and she wasn't impressed. Too bad for her, cats are the best! :)

Oh, and my cats use to do that too. We had one cat (Smitty) who use to love to go outside. One day the other cat (Einstein) was sitting in the window meow crazily... like seriously, he was channeling his Lassy powers. We went over to see what he was meowing at and he was tattling on Smitty! lol. Seriously, it was like a child saying "HEY! How come Smitty is outside? That's NOT ALLOWED! He should be in trouble!". lol.

But ya, my cats have run away a few times too, and every time I get really nervous and scared, especially since we live in a high coyote area.

Oh that is so great! He knew you were typing about him and came running home to assure you that he was ok.

My cat fell of the bed about 6 months ago and I swear to God I thought she was paralyzed. She wasn't moving her back legs and was dragging her body around. I called my BF (Fiancé now) and asked him to come over and help me get her to the Emergency vet ( it was 1:00am). I thought for sure I was going to have to put her down. She just bruised her butt.

SO HAPPY FOR YOU! Animals are the best...except coyote

OMG Heidi your cat looks just like my cat Grinder!! Uncanny!!

And I would have taken a day off work too Courtney. Thats a very sad time putting a pet down. My cat Jay had to have eye surgery when we lived in Ottawa. It was like 600 bucks! but it was that or put him down. He had inverted eyelids so when he blinked his eye was getting scratched. Now he has a bunch of leasons(sp?) on them and he is parshly blind in one eye. Thats why I was even more worried about him!!

Im glad to see that i am not the only crazy cat lady on here! lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
