Multicolour bridesmaids?

Recommended Posts

All three of my girls have different colors. My MoH is wearingthis style and my BMs are wearing this style all three of them have different colors on but the dresses compliment each other imho and also compliment the wedding as a whole .. I tied it all together with the flowers and accessories and so far i think they all look gorgeous. To be quite honest though i never thought of having all of them in the same color or even the same color tone i always thought of complimentary colors because each one of them are so different that it brings out their personality in a way cheesy.gif Ill try and post the picture of them together when im at home so you can see the color scheme..

Yah Ang, I agree love this idea.. Im doing all dif dresses but in the same color. I originally was going to go with that inspiration picture that girlkin posted though cause i looove it but changed my mind last minute. Natalia is actually using that as her inspiration pic so you will get to see pics from her wedding before yours.. just one more thing for you to decide, hey wink.gif

I love this idea too! We're having the girls wear the same dress in 3 different colors & then the guys are wearing the same guayabera shirt with different colored embroidery down the front. So each guy's embroidery will match the girl they're lined-up with.

Here are the dresses

Great thread! I really think that the "multicolor" bridesmaid dress idea can work really well!

I loved this color combination from one of my very special BDW bride's Mexico wedding.

Here is another couple of photos, not only the color but the style is different for each girl...I love how the necklaces (which I think were BM gifts) contrast with the dresses and how they all wore different gold sandals.

I loved this bride's less traditional idea, each girl had a callah lilly but chose her own dress. (you can see more photos from this wedding here.

OK, I am on a mission now, here is another combination from another Mexico wedding.

Oh I am doing different shades of blues at my wedding, the girls all found dresses at David's Bridal that they loved, so I just gave them a color (based on where they were standing at the alter) and told them they could pick any dress they wanted! They were sooo happy that they weren't going to look like twinkies, and all picked dresses that fit their personalities, style, and body type, which was great. It was so hard to pick one dress when they all have different shapes. They love their shades of blue!!!

They emailed me the styles and I went to Davidsbridal.com and entered them into the Dress your wedding party application to get a general ideal of how they were going to look.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
