Quick Question: Is this through travel agents that you were able to book your flights? Or just online, etc?

Our wedding is in May, and we are still waiting on our flights. We know we will be flying either the 8th to 15th or the 9th to 16th, however we don't have our flight schedules yet! Our travel agent told us we'd have them 300 days before our departure, we are now almost at 200 days and still nothing. I've looked on Air Transat's website and they don't have flights either. We are going through Signature Vacations. I'm beginning to worry that they won't have flights in May since Mexico is very slow right now.....

I try to work with a TA but they kept quoting me $300-450 more then the prices on the internet. So I finaly decide not to work with one, and just book our trip on Itravel2000. I also set up a website for guest, I'm pretty much my own TA lol
I got a good deal, because the day after I booked, the price went up $150. I count myself lucky, for booking early. On a normal vaca I would book 3 weeks before. Sometimes 1 week before!!

My wedding is July 30, 2010 at Dreams Los Cabos but we are still checking around with different TAs for packages, etc. I learned yesterday at a local wedding show that Dreams is most definitely not a sell off property, so there won't likely be any "last minute deals". The price typically stays the same.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
