Will you be my bridesmaid?

I have three bridesmaids. I am giving each of them a card (all different with pictures of us) with a poem inside;

The day, the dress

the bride, the groom

the joy, the tears,

will all come soon.

Professing true love,

to my husband to be,

with family & friends,

all watching me.

I hope the sun will

be shining down.

Keep your fingers crossed

That I'll fit in my gown....

But there's just one more thing

that there needs to be...

and that's to have you

standing with me

Janet, I would be honored if you would be my bridesmaid!

loveLOVE,

Ashley

Then, In a little box, I made these little card things with ribbon hanging off that explain what I want them to wear with another poem in the back.

I also have a mini bottle of tequilla, a shot glass, beer salt and a starfish necklace :)

Just so they can get in the mood!

I cant wait to ask them! I am doing it Friday!

I will take pictures later!

I forgot that I took this picture on my phone. Here are the cards (that go in the box) that have what the girls should wear to the wedding. I got this idea from MarthaStewart.com ...but I kind of changed it up a little. :)

ooo and I made one for my Jr. Bridesmaid and Flower Girl too! BUT, they dont get tequilla! haha!

Okay- Here are the other pictures!

I ordered the cards at Walgreens.com They were $1.99 each.

The white boxes are from Hobby Lobby. I think that they cost $4? And the flower stickers are from Hobby Lobby as well and they were $2!

Again, I am really excited to give these to the girls on Friday! :)

Ok, I went out a bought a few things.. before seeing these most recent posts.. wow! I found a lime green (my color) makeup bag at Pier One Imports of all places. and I bought other small cute things to put inside. A matching luggage tag which i put on and inside it printed out label saying "Maid of Honor" etc. Inside i put little paper soaps, a cute change purse, compact mirror, small note tablet and a little fold up bag for grocery (or wet bathing suit!) ... I don't have a card yet and have not asked them yet. Still want to add something else really Mexican. Love the poem!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
