Flowers....just bring color pictures and links of anything you want. Luis will meet with you and the florist on your site visit and get them taken care of. Same goes for centerpieces, chair covers, table cloths, napkins, whatever you are thinking of. Its important to be clear with the color scheme you are looking for...i.e. just don't say "light green".
Ice breaker...that is a good question. I was charged 2 $20 fees. I originally thought one was for the ice breaker and the other was for the reception. Then Luis told me that ice breaker was included and the other $20 was for my cocktail reception between wedding and dinner reception. I could be mistaken though. We actually ended up doing something cool for our "ice breaker". We went to the Mexican place before it opened, like 5:00 and did cocktails and snacks for an hour, then we moved to the back and had a very private table/area for our 20+ guests. It was really great!

Was looking at this resort and think it looks absolutely beautiful! My future mother in law was just in Mexico and visited the resort. It seemed to be a big hit..
However, I am having issues with finding pricing etc.. I emailed and got some information on room rates, etc.. But am still wondering what the wedding package costs are, or how that all works..
If anyone out there can help me out with this, I would really appreciate it!!

I am actually in the process of booking HTR for Jan 2011! I would love to see more pictures of the resort/rooms/beach, etc.. do you have a link that we could view them at?
Also, was just wondering how your summary was going on the resort? When you are finished, I would love to know so that I can read it!
Does anyone out there have the options pricelist? I have been in contact with HTR but it seems the only thing they sent me was the quote on the civil and religious ceremony as well as letting me know about the 20$ per person..
Is there anything that is actually included with the ceremonies? or is cake, flowers, etc charged seperately?
Anyone out there that has been married here, or is in the process.. If you could help me out with some info.. I may still have some of my hair left! LoL

We're already booked a DJ and are bringing a photographer from home...it's great that HTR doesn't have an outside vendor fee! I'm also thinking of doing real touch flowers for our bouquets/bouts but will need to get centerpieces and other flowers/decor from the resort.
Let me know if you have any specific questions for Luis. I'd be more than happy to ask during our site visit!

Hi Girls -
For those of you have signed contracts already can you please let me know if there was anything in there for natural disasters/power outages/etc. that would affect the wedding? This wasn't on my contract and since I saw so many people dealing with swine last year I was wondering if there was something that was addressed in the contract to deal with that type of thing.
