Hacienda Tres Rios Brides Post Here!

Hi everyone!  I am going to get married at Hacienda Tres Rios on March 30th, 2012.  I am so excited!  Everyones information on here is really helpful.  Did most of you use outside vendors for everything?  Or did you mix and match with Allibe's recommendations?  I am starting the vendor search!  If anyone has any advice for planning feel free to share!  Also, I would love to know if any of you did the legal ceremony there at Hacienda Tres Rios.  We are looking to do a non-religious ceremony and want to know how the officiant was and what was their name.

Congratulations and welcome!!! It is always exciting to see another H3R bride!! We are getting married May 13, 2012 and have really only booked our photographer so far. We are thinking of doing an IPOD reception since we will have a smaller group (about 30people). How many guests are you expecting??

Hi girls...we got some exciting news last week that I wanted to share with the HTR brides...

 

Our wedding in going to be featured in the Nov/Dec issue of Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Magazine!!  Our amazing photographer submitted our images and we just found out that we were selected   We're obviously SO excited!  I'll keep you posted when the magazine comes out so you can take a peak!

 

Aquabride--Congrats! HTR is a great place to get married.  Let me know if you have any vendor questions.  We used mostly our own vendors that I found through this site.  I'm always happy to help!

Becks that is awesome!  I loved your pictures!!  

 

Samantha thats awesome you are doing your wedding there around the same time.  I'm sure well both have lots of questions.  I haven't booked anyone, but I'm close to booking a photographer.  Who did you book?  What comes next?  Music?  Officiant?  flowers?  so much to do.  My wedding is going to be large... we sent out 200 save the dates... but my guess is we might have 100 people there, it's hard to tell this far in advance.

I am soo glad our dates are so close! It will definitely help with questions/vendors! Our wedding will be quite a bit smaller, closer to 30-35 people as we wanted a small wedding, even though my FI's parents are now going overboard with the AHR and we will be closer to 300+. YIKES. We booked Photos In Cancun as our photographer and I am SO glad we did. He is great to talk to because he is Canadian, therefore no language barrier!! He is also extremely quick to respond to emails and I have been impressed with his work (I stalked his website for awhile before booking).

 

Who is your contact? I have been working with Luis as my parents are owners at H3R but he is extremely busy so his email responses are slow. Which leads me also to wonder whats next?? I am working on a lot of DIY projects and planning the AHR. We contemplated hiring a DJ but decided to go with an IPOD reception that my uncle will run, as he used to be a DJ in a previous life, and our reception will be smaller with an enormous AHR. I'm stuck on flowers at the moment, if you have any ideas bouncing around please share them!! Same goes for the officiant, I think the resort has one but I haven't heard anything about him/her.

Hey Everyone,

  I'm also new on this site. My Fiance and I are getting married at Hacienda Tres Rios on May 20, 2012. We are so excited. We are actually going down this week to check out all the vendors (flowers, photographers, DJs, etc). I've been searching online a lot myself, and right now we're leaning towards having DJ Doremixx at our wedding. We are meeting with him this Tuesday, so we'll see how it goes. 

 

Becks: Your photos are amazing! Your photographer is so talented. Our colors are also purple. We haven't chosen a florist yet though, but I love your centerpieces; so pretty!

 

Samantha: Your wedding is the week before ours, that's so exciting! My FI parents are also H3R owners. Who are you having from Photos In Cancun do your wedding?

Hey everyone!

I tried posting here before, but I guess it didn't work.

My FI and I are also getting married at H3R, on May 20, 2012. We are so excited! We are actually going there this week to check out vendors. We haven't booked any yet, but we're pretty set on having DJ Doremixx at the wedding. We have read great reviews about him, and are meeting him this Tuesday. All the information on here about vendors has been really helpful. 

 

Becks: Your wedding looked beautiful! Your photographer is amazing!  I love your centerpieces, our colors are also purple.

 

Samantha: I can't believe your getting married only a week before us. My FI's parents are also owners and we have been dealing with Luis. He is very slow at getting back to us, but he has improved since we spoke to someone who was above him.

Hey everyone! I'm also a H3R bride. We're getting married on May 20,2012. (1 week after you, Samantha). My FI's parents are also owners and we are working with Luis, who is slow to get back to us, but he has been a little better. We are going to H3R this week to meet with vendors. So far we know we want DJ Doremixx for the wedding. We haven't chosen a photographer or florist yet, we are trying to look for an affordable florist if anyone knows of one. For hair and make-up I've been in contact with Adrian from Styling Trio Riviera Maya. His prices are pretty good and I like his work, he does the airbrush make-up. 

 

Becky: Your wedding was beautiful. Your photographer was amazing. We are also having purple as our color.
