sorry for finding this so late.... just email our studio manager Melissa at info @ delsolphotography .com and she will give you all the necessary info.

sometimes, computers at work will not enable you to enter forms, etc. We ask these questionnaires to really get an idea of the expectations on the wedding day, etc. hopefully, that helps.

YEAH! We sent out our boarding pass save the dates yesterday and I've already gotten a few calls/texts from guests saying that they are by far the coolest save the dates they have ever received. It feels so good to know that they are finally out.

Just wanted to share in our excitement!!

Your travel/booking set up seems ideal! We have been wondering if it would work to reserve a block through the resort and still use TA Jill.

I'm still a little unsure about guest deposits and cancellation policies b/c what Allibe has been telling us and what the contract says seem a little different.
Do you know when guests have to pay a one night deposit, when they have to cancel by to avoid penalty and when we have to release unused rooms from our block? It would be so helpful to know your take on that info!!!
We're doing a food tasting when we get there!! So excited!!! What time did you do yours? We're getting told to do them earlier in the day but we were hoping to do it like at 4 or 5.

We got quoted a rate from the hotel and our guests can get that if they book through the hotel or our outside wedding coordinator. Otherwise I have had our guests reach out to our Travel Agent Dina also. She's been amazing.
For all of those options I think they just pay a one night deposit and the rest when they check in (hotel booking and our wedding coordinator). W/Travel Agent I think they pay a smaller deposit for the hotel...I have to check my emails but I believe they can make partial payments and make sure they pay in full before they leave for mexico.

I am dying to see your pictures of your site visit! Did you take any of the wedding??

Where are you girls thinking of having your honeymoon?

We did our tasting at noon...it was perfect because we were SO stuffed afterward but were still able to enjoy a late dinner at the Asian restaurant (Kotori). By the time we left, I didn't think that I was ever going to be hungry again. I'm so excited for you...you're going to LOVE it! Your day is getting close too.

Thanks for the info on the bookings. I think we are going to do exactly what you are, except we don't have an outside wedding coordinator.

My goal for tonight is to get some of my site visit photos posted!!!

Unfortunately no pictures of the wedding...it was in the ballroom.

Here are a few pics for now. I have friends coming into town in a few hours so I wanted to put a few up before I get super busy.

We're going to do a welcome party on the beach, ceremony at the point in the picture, cocktail hour at the martini terrace and the reception on the plaza...which is the last pic. Well, at least that's the plan :-)

Next time I'm on, I'll post some pics of the food...and the beach beds :-)

It looks just as awesome as I remember it to be!

So what food selections did you ultimately choose?

Allibe emailed me the contract the other day. I haven't read through it all yet as we are moving this weekend. But I'm super excited to get it booked!

YES! That's Burton, our 6yr old Weimaraner. He's such a good dog and is pretty much our kid, so I couldn't help but put him on the website. Everyone who knows us would expect nothing less! For Christmas, I actually had our wedding photographer do a doggie photoshoot and I gave it to FI as a Christmas present...the photo on the website is from that photoshoot. Crazy? Maybe ;-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
