Of course you can! Welcome!

I'm glad we're entertaining :)

You're coming up soon, what left do you have to do?

Is anyone else doing this...

Last night I was sitting here at my computer with my "to do" list & seriously just thought...I am done, ha! I want to be at the beach now...get married and have a great vacation...heck with all the planning. But then I look at everything and I am happy how things have turned out (bags, dress, etc...) and sad that in 2 weeks it will be over. Ugh, emotions...why can't men be like this...worried about all the details & just for 1 day it not be me.

Ugh, my lists are long and never-ending because its intertwined with school and work stuff (I am a nurse getting my masters degree like Karen).

A general summary:
  • Get my sister's bridesmaid dress!!!!! Everyone else but her has a dress now sad.gif
  • Finish Welcome booklets on powerpoint, get the right paper and supplies to print them out with and put them together
  • pedicures and axxium nail polish next week
  • waxing this week
  • Get my braces off next week!!!
  • make maraca tags
  • put together welcome bags with items and give them to people we will see before we go to the airport
  • look into booking sunset catamaran tour (last minute decision)
  • get another set of false eyelashes--wore the one i bought for wedding day on legal day, its a bit worse for wear
  • make arrangements for cats to be taken care of while we're away
  • do bikram yoga at least 2 more times
  • Thank you cards to my gals who organized my stagette
  • pick up wedding bands on friday!
  • get tickets from our TA (who I am not on speaking terms with any longer, this is FI's task)

Yupp.... that about sums it up! 10 days until Mexico!! I cannot wait!!

Welcome all you lurkers coming out of hiding! :)

Wow, yeah I'm right there... I stopped caring about the little details and keep making lists of what I'm going to do when I get there, FI and I skipped a vacay last year in order to effectively pay for our wedding so we haven't had a real vacation for over 2 years now!

just a few more weeks of details to deal with, then we can all sit back, relax, and stare at our rings all over again because we'll have beautiful new wedding bands added to our bling! :) it'll all be worth it!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
