OH WOW!!! Ok you're leaving in 8 days and moving 2 days before you leave? I'm impressed, I'd be in an alcohol coma if I attempted this, LOL!

Just remember, one thing at a time and you'll get through it all!

Good luck :)

caligirl, you're crazy!

I don't think you'd need a welcome letter, Amy but it is a nice gesture though. I am trying to decide if I should do this. We are not doing OOT bags so not sure how we would be able to do this. We also have guests that are not staying at the resort.

I have my hair trial this Thursday!

I managed to cross off two items on my do list over the weekend. At least, it's something! Lol. I'm DONE with shopping for clothes/shoes for Mexico. I am banning myself from surfing shopping sites.

Diana you're doing stuff, that's what counts! Good for you :)

OOoo, do you know what you are doing for your hair trial? I wish I had taken more and better pix, they are ok, I may still post them just for you girls.

I need that "done" feeling with shopping for clothes and I fear I will never reach it! I have plenty of stuff I'm pretty sure. I keep trying to buy clothes for FI but he is fine with 2 pairs of swim trunks and 2 pairs of shorts... for 12 days?! I don't get it...

i'm glad to see that i'm not the only one in chaos right now!

things we got done this weekend:

- got marriage license and a list of judges for the legal reqs

- had final fitting and took my dress home

- went suit shopping - i think we'll go with one we found, but need to wait until the order comes in to say for sure. still need to find a fabulous orange tie for him. i found the perfect one a few weeks ago, but it was $190. i couldn't justify that!

i'm hoping to get a lot more little things done in the next few weeks and that list is a mile long. but there are just a few big, must-have things left to do!

Lots going on!! Yay for final dress fittings & hair trials! It's great everyone's getting so much done!! Of course it's crunch time so we have no choice!

Jenny, I cannot believe you're moving 2 days before leaving for your wedding!! craziness! Good luck with everything! You guys will definitely have earned your vacation :)

Amy, here's our welcome letter. It's actually a flat note card I made up on Vista Print using one of their templates.

Shannon, I did exactly that - downloaded all the zipped files from Jen to my computer. Then I uploaded the ones I wanted into a photo album on Shutterfly and into the book so they'll be printed on the pages of the book. The book only cost like $35 for 28 pages & a leather cover. I added expedited shipping & had a coupon code so it was around $40 total. If you're worried about your book you could always make another when you get back, but it sounds like yours will be great! And I know he's gonna LOVE it!!

Oh & here are some hair inspiration pics. I have 3 small hair flowers but I was thinking I might only wear 2 of them off on one side. I played around the other day & asked FI what he thought & we both agreed that looked better than the 3 (like in the brunette's hair below). I also have a single larger flower I borrowed from a friend, but it kind of looks too big on me. Definitely leaning towards the hair trial now. Thanks girls!

Karen - Love your welcome card!! VistaPrint... I've used it SO many times and ALWAYS forget about it! I end up really getting into making stuff on Publisher and forget what a pain it is to then have to go to Kinkos and get it printed and then cut them all.

LOVE your hair inspiration! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! I am so jealous, I have stick straight thin hair but a lot of it! It wouldn't curl to save my life and with humidity would end up looking just sad so I have to have mine up which then made me realize I have a neck tattoo to cover, ugh.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
