i feel your pain! i got pics yesterday from my FSIL from one of my dress fittings. argh, who knew i had back fat!?!? such a sad discovery and i have no idea what to do about that! i just have a little birdcage veil so i have nothing to disguise it!

does this really help? i have a body treatment scheduled for the morning of my wedding....

I guess we all are the worst critics of our bodies. I am sure you will look gorgeous, regardless! Are you going to do it at The Royal Spa? Do you have the menu of services?

diana, i'm getting the mud wrap. i've never had one beforem but it sounds interesting! we're doing spa treatments around 11 and the wedding is at 6, so i should have plenty of time to be sure all the mud gets removed! :)

•Mud Wrap

Mud helps feed the skin as well as reduce inflammation in tissues and joints. The body is massaged with the mud then wrapped to produce a heat effect, followed by an application of aromatic oil.

50 min.$85 USD

I'm thinking about getting something done in the morning too but not sure what...i opted out the hairstyling, makeup, and manicure that came with the package. It sucks that they don't give you credit or use the credit for something else!!

what was your reasoning for opting out of all those options? i know you're brining in some MAC artists, so that makes sense, i guess you just feel more comfortable with someone else?

it totally sucks that they don't give you any credit for non-used options, especially if you could just request a different spa service instead of those you're giving up! dumb!

my FSIL is doing my hair, i'm doing my own makeup (after a couple trips to local MAC counters!) and i'm getting an axxium mani/pedi before i go. so i should be set for all that stuff, but a body treatment seemed like a fun idea! hopefully it'll help me glow a little!

I'm bringing in a MAC artist for makeup, my FI's cousin's fiancee will do my hair. She did my hair trial. I just feel comfortable that she knows what I want. Plus, I'm also doing an axxium mani!

I read that you should eat lots of fruit and it'll help you to get a glow.

Diana -

I opted out of the same services too. I'm doing my nails at home before we leave just because I know my manicurist here does a good job. I'm the same with you on the hair. I emailed the MAC lady you told me about and told her you refered me and she never got back with me. :/ But I got someone else to come in so no big deal. And yes I wish they could work with us and give us some kind of credit!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
