For real! I think I'll blend up some margaritas tonight (AFTER working out) and get to writing!

I suggested to FI the other day that we start practicing for our bachelor/bachelorette parties which will be in Cancun where entry fee basically includes unlimited alcohol... we love to drink but I haven't had some good practice in awhile. I've got some patron so I think I'll kill two birds and let you know how it goes tomorrow muscle.gif

Maybe I should get to Practicing too.. LOL I have turned into a lightweight recently.. My freinds kidnapped me on Sat. It was interesting they took me to the Sex Museum in NYC and out to eat and then dancing... Fun times LOl But I do know that I can't drink like the college years LOL...

Hey girls! wow I've missed a lot!

Drinking - like the rest of you, I'm in trouble. I have to seriously pace myself & keep up on the hydration. I'm 2 sheets to the wind w/ a couple glasses of wine. :P

Vows - don't even get me started. That seems like this huge thing looming. Trying to express just the right thing w/o being too schmaltzy.

Music - oy. Seriously wish we had hired an outside DJ. We're coming up w/ a play list, but I don't have much confidence that a) the ceremony music will be heard (we're supposedly just using a bose speaker system & ipod) or B) the reception music will go as planned. Just have to make sure it's all ready to go on the ipod.

I'm happy to report I am DONE with finals! Woot! I made it through w/o having a total psychotic break, which is always good.

Tomorrow morning I'm headed to Chicago for the weekend - throwing a friend's shower - & THEN I can re-focus on wedding stuff!

Good luck to you girls this weekend!

~xo~

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
