May 2010 Brides!

Recommended Posts

I know, Diana you're totally right it's just I have another bridesmaid that screwed up her flight and can't afford to rebook and she's been on of my closest friends for 12 years now, it feels terrible knowing I may never forgive her for this.

I'm a total mess, I just want to be excited already :)

That's what I thought too... I offered and she responded saying, "I don't want to borrow money."

Well the what the hell DO you want to do. That was the last I heard from her.

oh Amy, that is not cool...i seriously hope she truly can't go, not because she doesn't want to go.

FI's best man STILL hasn't returned his calls/texts so I told FI to count him out because it was obvious that he doesn't want to go!

I have a friend who is friends with me and FI who told me she and her boyfriend couldnt go because her bf cant take off time from his job so next thing i see on her FB, they booked a costa rica trip in April. Whatever!

I just keep in the mind that at the wedding, i will be surrounded by people who truly have our best interests at heart so let's keep that in mind! It's count down, ladies! No more stressing over shady people! You're marrying your best friend.

I do know she does have financial issues it just sucks!

OMG... I would have shown up at FI's BM's house by now with a shotgun wink.gif I can't believe how disrespectful he's being, that's just ridiculous!

I have a co-worker who did something similar... told me she couldn't go to my wedding because she decided last minute to go to Mexico in February... thanks.

I know you're right, I am shaking this off and focusing on what I CAN control and make it the best for the people joining us :)

Hi ladies...I have been away from the forum for a few days, I feel lost.

KH and Diana I really hope things pan out. I hate that you are going through this. It's not fair and people need to think about the big picture...

Purpleshells and Chrissy...it is sneaking up on us.

I just looked at my countdown and I am 39 days till I do and 34 days till we leave. Wow. I got the prototype back for my flowers, I will post it last or tomorrow...so excited about the centerpieces, he did a great job. =) Slowly but surely...

Oh and I don't about some of your spa prices...but a mani was like $70 and THAT IS CRAZY. So I was told about this UV polish, it's about 20 bucks and stays for 2 weeks, it's not tips or gels...it's a polish...it might be something to look into. I am going to search my salons to inquire....I'll keep you posted!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
