YAY Sarah!!!

Again, when you are concious of what you are eating, you tend to do better...even if your bad!

Pizza was/is my weekness too! I just used flex points or ate the Lean Cuisine Pizzas. They are really good. And just make a big salad with it so you are satified!

To keep from getting hungry remember to Snack snack snack! Also, protein keeps you fuller longer, so if you eat higher protein/lower starch meals, you won't get as hungry as fast..

Also...chew gum! That always helps me when I get really hungry or just want to eat for no reason at all....

I agree! I was thinking today about how when you're eating right you're actually eating a little something all day long!

Jilly - here are some items that I find are helpful when I'm starving but don't have many ppoints left:

- Hearts of Palm "salad" - mix with chopped tomotoes and add white vinegar - has a 1/2 point.

- Pickles - high in sodium but can help when you're craving something salty

- Western Alternativbe Bagel (1 point) w/ 1 Tbsp. light cream cheese (1 pt.) is 2 points total

- A big apples chopped up into tiny peicves and then you can snack on it for like 20 minutes

- the all powerful weighloss elixir - water.

- microwave (light) popcorn

Jilly, the girls have been a lifesaver for me. It's so nice to get some great suggestions of ways to get through the day.
My favorite snacks:
Weight Watchers Toffee Ice Cream Bars: 2 points (unbelievable!)
Orville Redenbacher Smart Pop Mini Bags: 2 points (my favorite night time snack)
Weight Watchers Yogurt: 1 point
South Beach Breakfast Wraps: 4 points
Sugar Free Jello: 0 points
Sugar Free Jello Pudding: 1 point

I'm always in a hurry and very easily can pack premade Weight Watchers, Lean Cuisine, and the above mentioned snacks to get me through the day!

I usually save all my flexpoints for one bad meal a week, so I feel like I still can have my pizza and champagne and not be guilty!

Keep it up- we're all in this together!

Sarah, I save all my flex points for the weekend too, because FI and I will usually have a few drinks. Thanks for the food tips

TammyM, I too had planned to start back to the gym on monday along with ww, but those plans got fouled up by the football game, so I figure at least I started one part, I can start the gym later this week or next week.

TammyM- Don't worry - Dec. 1st is perfect - give yourself enought ime to feel better and be stronger and then you can start!

I think I probably gained about a pound over TG but maybe not even - I feel good for the first time ina long time - not all sad and depressed about my weight - so maybe that's the best of all!

I still haven't re-started exercising - I'm not sure why... I am going to do it! Maybe I'll start on Dec. 1st with Tammy!

I was just thinking today how I never would have joined WW if it wasn't for everyone here (especially rebecca who's our WW vet!) and I would still be too sad to try on dresses. Now I have an even bigger problem - I'm in love with a super expensive dress wink.gif hee hee hee... I prefer the new problem to the old one!

Ladies...
A really good zero point salad dressing are "Salad Spritzers" by Wishbone. The flavor I have is Balsalmic Breeze and 10 sprays is 10 calories, 1g fat 0 fiber. SO, zero points?? It is SOO good!!! You can just spray each bite!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
