Sorry, I got a little excited- it's the little victories, you know?

13 more to go and I'll be back at my college (and goal) weight!
Yay!!!! Way to go Kash. They say that taking it off slower helps you keep it off better. You're still over the recommended 2 lbs per week, so you're doing awesome! It's also good to hear that you are still losing despite going over your points last week.
Are you working out? I've found that I really thrive on seeing that number of "activity points" go up and knowing that I have extra points for the day that I COULD use, but won't.
It's so fun to be on this plan with you, I was so excited to hear how your weigh in went today. Tomorrow I have a good bye party for a co-worker, so I'm sure I'll use all my flex points. I'm trying to plan ahead and bring treats that I know exactly how many points they are worth so I can no overdo it.
Keep up the awesome progress!

I hear ya! So far we're doing great! This weekend is going to be a huge challenge. Tomorrow we're going out to dinner (I've never here been before: http://www.tradervics.com/rest-beverlyhills.html) for my FI's birthday with about 10 people. THEN on saturday we're having a B-Day/Toga/Halloween party! So I need to be REALLY good and save up points.

Good idea with the bringin your own (tasty snacks). I'm going to try and stock out party with items that I either:

1) Don't like/dont' eat (meat could work!)

2) Healthy (popcorn)

3) Small portions (we have some appetizer size veggie samosas to serve...)

This week I didn't work out at all embarrest.gif but I was really diligent all week long on not going even one point over. Today I just got my exercise info from them so I'm ready! Plus if you can do the entire Tae Bo tape then I can get on the stationary bike (note - the bike is actually in my house!)! i didn't realize you get more points (to eat) the more you exercise... I like it!

I agree - doing it together (and having people to support you when you mess up) makes all the difference!

PS Thanks for the congrats!

OK so I weighed in today and basically had a really bad week! It started off great, lots of exercise and staying with the points. Well, then there was the weekend from hell: a goodbye party for my coworker on Friday, a total of 10 hours of sleep for three days (nights, whatever...) which leads to tired snacking at work...overall 12 points over my flex points and I only lost 1/2 pound! Arrgghhh! Oh well, try harder next week...

Sarah - You know what's funny? I was feelingso terrible about myself for going WAY over my points this week (see above regarding the plans that I did not manage to follow). I went 19 points over my Flex!!!!! I feel so embarressed I didn't even want to post it! Plus when I came into work today and weighed myself I'm actually UP from friday... sigh.

But Thursday is weigh in and I am trying SO SO SO hard to do good between now and then. I would be very happy to lose but I have to accept that I may not after the terrible (i.e. "food terrible" but actually a very nice) weekend I had.

OK, so even worse is that these days I just cannot motivate to exercise AT ALL!!!! I don't know what's wrong with me - I use to to exercise and nowadays I just can't make myself do it...

Anybody have ideas on how to motivate?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
