Good ideas girls- I really like the idea of eating some nuts or something quick and high cal to make my points amount if I'm short. Trust me, I'm sure this won't be a common problem! I couldn't believe when I got home this morning a plugged my foods into the points calculator and was that short! I'm sure I'll make up for it this weekend! No, I won't- I will try to be good..

Thanks ladies!

Sarah - It's funny because the meeting I went to yesterday was all about eating in a that's sustainable for life. The big thing they also said is that you will actually lose more wieght by eating all your points than skimping. You have a tougher situation that most people though -it must be so hard to work crazy hours and find the time to sit and eat a good meal. I think if you even just bring somethings that are easy to pack and easy to eat while you work you could really get all those points in and lose MORE weight! (plus you get to eat... which I love). The nuts are a great idea in my opinion - especially almonds. At WW they told us we're suppose to be trying in incorporate 2 tsp. of olive or canola oil a day into our meals. I thinkt he almonds would also meet this requirement because they are high in Omerga 3s

Good work so far!cheer2.gif

I ate way more than I should of this weekend. On friday night I used up all my flex points and then today when I counted up ther points I realized i was way over! Anyway - what can I do now for the rest of the week to try and still have a loss on Thursday? crybaby2.gif

Any ideas? I guess exercise might help... which I should do anyway. I feel sad about it because last week I lost and I felt so jiggy.gif about it. It's like I'm subconsciously sabotaging myself! Sigh... any advice from those who maybe have gone through it before?

ineed to stop mad2.gif myself too because that isn't helping anything either.. thoughts?

Just try to think of it like this. You didn't gain the weight in one day, and you aren't going to lose it in one day, and you aren't going to sabotage it in one day either! THis is the race of the slow and steady. If you are good until your next weigh-in, I know you will lose!

Hey Kash,
Drink LOTS of water and reduce your starch intake. Don;t cut it out, just reduce it. No starches after 2:00 PM. Eat a lot of protein, veggies and salad.

Also, a little trick to a good weigh in is to not eat starches the night before weigh in. Starches (pasta and bread) will make you retain water (which is not really a gain, but will apprear that way for a couple of days after).

Don't give up. So you screwed up one day. Just dust yourself off and get right back up!

Kash, I totally understand what you're going through. I'm the #1 worst person ever for sabotaging myself when on a diet. I think you've already gotten some great advice, the best thing I can say is don't beat yourself up over it, and (preaching to myself here too) don't continue to be bad one day just because you screwed up one meal. Go on with the diet just like you didn't mess up.

I used all my flex points up in one meal on Friday night (ate 1/2 pizza and a glass of champagne!) but made myself behave the rest of the weekend- it was soooo hard! But, I lost 3 pounds this first week, today was weigh in, and I only worked out twice last week. I know the first week you usually lose the most, so I'm hoping I will still continue to lose at least something every week. I was kinda hoping I's lose a little more my first week, but I guess I did use every flex point I had.

We'll see how week 2 goes. Keep it up Kash- I'm cheering for you!cheer2.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
