the 35 points are for you to use whenever you need to go over your points. For instance, I usually save mine for the weekends because that's when I tend to run out of my regular points, like if you go out to dinner or have a party to go to or whatever. You don't have to use them. You could also just use a couple a day if you're still hungry. It's pretty easy to follow once you get used to it. are you going to meetings, or doing it online?

Leigh if you are doing it online, you will also get activity points for any exercise. I am really trying to lose 30 lbs before the wedding so I am trying not to use any extra points-you do not actually have to use the 35 flex points or your activity points, but they are basically your eating out points from what most of the women in my meetings have said.

Christine, we are in the same boat! I really want to lose 30 before I look for a dress, so I was giving myself the deadline of March, but I don't know if I can wait that long to get a dress. I might go check out davids bridal soon and as long as I can find something there that I like I could wait a couple months to buy it, so hopefully I'll be able to get a smaller size. I try not to use the extra points too. I'm doing really good this week with my eating, but everyday I say I'm getting on my treadmill and I just do not want to when I get home. I am thinking I may go to the gym tonight, they have one of my favorite classes tonight. Otherwise, I am getting on the treadmill, exercise helps you lose so much easier.

Jilly, the lady I ordered my dress through at David's bridal said when it came in, if it was too big I could exchange it for the next size down. That's is my goal, I ordered a 10 but am hoping to fit in an 8

I usually use the 35 points for the weekend. I know that I will be eating out at some point and probably having a few drinks. I think they are to make life easier. Not many people eat exactly the same amount of food EVERY SINGLE day. Everyone is allowed a few margaritas, right?!

I ordered my dress at David's Bridal as well. I lost 20 lbs and went to go get the smaller size and ended up exchanging it for a different dress too. That is the bonus with DB!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
