Love the postcards!! IN the process now of trying to find the "right" ones...geesh I am stressed....7 months to go and I don't have STD's yet!! Having a time getting schedules together w/ photographer. sad.gif

With it being so late, do you think we could just send post cards, then the invites or just skip the postcards all together?! I am a mess! No one to help me except you ladies! Thanks again for all of the great info!! I don't know what I would do w/o this forum!!

ddk5576- I think now is still a good time to send out save the dates... then the real invites two to three months out. It's really up to you! Are you planning on using pro photos for the STD's? Or what was your original plan for the STD's? You could always just send a nice email too if you don't want to bother.

Don't sweat the small stuff. We are doing e-STDs. I created one myself in photoshop and will just email to the guest list along with our TA's info. We'll then send the formal invitations in a few months.

I got the smallest stamps from zazzle and stamps.com they are exactly the same size... so both too big. If you want the photo stamps maybe you could work something out with Ginger and maybe you can do an oversized postcard? or if you end up using the envelopes the size wouldn't be a problem! I looked for smaller personalized photo stamps but haven't had any luck. Let me know what you end up doing!

Just an update. First of all..Ginger is a DREAM to work with. Second...there was an easy fix for the stamp issue. I told Ginger that the smallest custom stamp was 1.8 by 1.3 and had noticed that there was some room below the address section. She simply re-typset it and moved the address lines down!! Now the vertical stamp will fit perfectly!! Thank goodness...the only postcard stamp the post office had was a polar bear!! I just ordered my custom stamps from Zazzle.

BTW...my proofs look AMAZING!! Can't thank you enough for this thread.

Just an FYI...I got my stamps back from zazzle today....sent horizontal and not vertical so they must go back. They are however gorgeous!! However...for anyone looking to order from zazzle...I received a coupon code of givezazzle09 which is good for 10% off. Note however that when I ordered this past weekend, they had free 2-day shipping so....check to see if this is a good deal for you....don't know if you can stack codes.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
