Wedding MC??

Recommended Posts

I was concerned about this topic and don't know how to solve it. I don't want to ask any of our guests to host. Plus we have a bilingual so we will need someone who speaks both English and Spanish, otherwise 1/2 of the guests will not understand him/her. Can the DJ also be the MC or is it necessary for it to be a different personhuh.gif?

I am getting a proposal of an mc dj, for a great price.

This is through Julieta, my florist who also is adding for the animation part, a mobile shot car. Then they coordinate shots, music, comments, toasts, etc. They are the life of the party! in the website it says a lot of testimonies and I am going down there on may 10 to check on this master of ceremonies.

Let me know if you are interested in the site or mail.

I think having someone that knows you both is much more personal. We plan to ask one of my FI good friends.....and we plan to make playlists on the ipod, so he's not having to worry about dj'ing as well.....the mc is needed for a small part of the reception that I wouldn't be paying additional fees for it!

I am def going to ask a friend to do it, we can't have all of our friends in the wedding, so this is an easy way to include more people.  I just have to figure out which person would enjoy doing it.

We asked one of my good friends who is really funny and outgoing. She just called me and asked for a rough schedule...now to attempt to put that together. I would ask a friend or family member, its so much more personal and as a guest I find it much more enjoyable when the MC knows the bride and groom well.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
