Catholic chapels& Xcaret wedding break through!!!

Recommended Posts

Hi Ladies -

I just came back from the Riviera Maya and we went to Xcaret in our search for the perfect chapel...ALL I can say is WOW! The Assissi chapel is breathtaking with ocean views. It is so different in person than it is in pictures.

Do any of you have pictures of weddings at any of the two chapels? I am interested in seeing pictures of the newer one with the underground pool.

Thanks!

I have been in several places, churches an chapels for weddings, Xcart is a great place to get married, Ocean view and thousand of gourgeous spots for pictures, at the end every bride will only have pictures that may worth thousand words each one an a one and a half cool video. :)

My wedding is at the Xcaret Chapel on 11-15-10! If you decide to do any additional candles or decor, we should share. :)

I am bringing my photographer too.
Exciting!!! I definitely want to do extra decor in terms of candles etc so great idea!! Our ceremony is at 2:30. What time are you doing yours?

Also - how are you transporting all your guests? We are going to get buses but have to find good pricing options since we'll need two buses and limos too!

We decided to go with the 6pm time. I know it will be later, but we are doing photos before so we can go straight to partying. :)

We are working with Weddings in Cancun. They have arranged group transportation at very affordable rates. I highly recommend them! Let me know if you want their contact information. I'm not sure of the company they are using.

The cost for the ceremony is $1650. The transportation quotes can vary. I know someone on here got awesome ones.

Hi Girls - Does anyone have any information on how to get your paperwork sent correctly..

Our priest is filling out our paperwork sending it to the Diocese of CT then they are sending it to Riviera Maya. Our wedding coordinator said we have to have him send it to Lady of Guadalupe Chapel in Playa del Carmen...DId you guys all do that?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
