LOLing at this whole thread. Guys are just so different than we are and it totally drives us both nutso.

Di that would be so awesome to have a FI do stuff without asking! FI is always like, "I didn't know I needed to unload the dishwasher or wash the towels" I swear he only thinks about stuff when I put it under his nose. Once he had the audacity to say he didn't do the dishes because he knew that I liked to do them. Notice I said "once" because now he does the dishes all the time wink.gif

Is that too much to ask??

LOL You ladies have made my day to know that you too, feel my "stupid men" pain!

Another thing that gets me is his lack of helping around the house. I have to nag him to help, which is totally annoying to me and I'm sure to him. HELLO, we both work full-time so why should only one of us get to go home and relax. If we both work at it together, then we can both enjoy our free time together. He likes to tease me and tell me....well, I do all the outside work. WE LIVE IN A FREAKIN APPARTMENT!!!! lol So now, we're in the process of telling of buying a house (just waiting for aproval from the bank) and I told him that I don't mind doing the cleaning and such because he'll have all the grass cutting and snow shoveling to do, woo hooo!!! cheesy.gif

I love.gif my man though....really....lol

My FI is not bad for misplacing things, his is forgetting to do things and/or making me so frustrated I do it for him... haha But its ME that gdoes the "ok seriously, where are my keys? I left them RIGHT HERE and - oh... they were over here the whole time!" thing in the morning, afternoon and night (whenever we leave the house)... haha

Wow, I go through this on an HOURLY BASIS!

My FI is soooo bad with misplacing things... he's on about his 10th Blackberry!

Whenever he's missing something, I just tell him to think of the most random/unlikely place it would be and Voila! There it is!

I usually take mental note of where he left things and then let him run around looking for it before I give in and say - Why don't you check the ______? (Refridgerator, sometimes!)

I am so sick of nagging him to do things or put things in their place... it makes life so much simpler!

My bridesmaids are making the boys t-shirts for the wedding that say:

"Rule #1: Nagging = Caring"

Lisa, we just went to pick out our tiles for our new house. FI wanted these really nice glossy tiles, but I said they were too high maintenance and require too much cleaning... He didn't seem to think that was a big deal - censored.gifbecause he isn't the one that will have to clean them all the time!

OMG I am totally like "the man".. I am constantly misplacing things/ losing them / trying to find things at the last minute.

I do try to be organized.. it just doesn't work.. i'm always in a rush and therefore when i come home I am rushing to do something and the keys go in various places....

Luckily my FI is kind of the same way. In the mornings we are both bumbling around looking for our work badges, our keys, wallets, cell phones, etc.

Plenty of times, I leave the house and have to come back to get something I forgot....

I mean SERIOUSLY WTF??!?!? censored.gifcensored.gifcensored.gif I have no problems putting my stuff in the same spot all the time and know exactly where everything is. SHEESH!!!

Anyway, I guess I'm calmer now but it just pisses me off that my day is delayed (we car-pool) because I have to wait for him to do his "gathering" in the morning! It's nice that he gets to lay in bed for 25 mins after the alarm goes off and then made me wait for him because he's not ready...MEN!!!!!!!!!!

Am I the only one with this problem or all are men like this?!?

(seriously, I have a great man. I'm just super tired/stressed this morning)
Um, Lisa, were you at my house this morninghuh.gif This is a daily annoyance for me. We don't car pool together, thank God, b/c if we did I would probably throttle him. But I still end up trying to help him find his crap while he's running around like a damn chicken w/o a head. Every day I tell him "YOU NEED A SYSTEM!!". ugh, MEN is right!!

Oh ladies, I think you've all been to my house lately!!!! My man is so bad for losing stuff, and he gets up way earlier than I do, so I HATE having to get up and help him look when I could be sleeping in!!! And cleaning, come on, its the 21st century, we both work full time, why do I have to ask him to do things!! I did a major clean on Sunday, and he came home and asked what I did all day and I lost it! LOL I hate whining about cleaning, but if I don't then he would never think to do anything!

I totally needed this rant today! LOL

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
