Are you using real flowers or not? and if not, where do you get your hair flowers?

I plan on using fake flowers. All bridal salons have a selection of them

I'm not sure if I'm having flowers in my hair but just wanted to suggest Etsy. I always see gorgeous hair flowers on there. Especially the plumeria and orchid flowers.

I was surprised to find perfect silk hair flowers at Claires...and better yet it was $5.50! I can't figure out how to post the picture in the posting but you can email me at kimberly1shaw@gmail.com if you are interested in seeing what it looks like!

I used fake flowers in my hair and my aunt made them for me, but Etsy does have a wonderful selection so definitely look there.

I really like the cascading orchids from wedideas.com but not sure where I'll get them!

I just bought a hand made feather flower from one of the brides on this forum. It is super cute and far cheaper than some that I have seen. Can't wait to get it in the mail.

from the weddings i photograph seems its about 50/50. there are pros and cons to both.

some fake flowers can look so suprisingly real. then they can also look amazingly fake. so if you find the right one it can save a lot of hassle with it not wilting or falling out or petals falling off.
