Travel Mugs or Stadium Cups??? (Moon Palace)

Recommended Posts

We went with stadium cups because I am using them as favors for our AHR as well and they fit into our budget. Besides, for Mexico we just like to have a little bit bigger cup than the ones the AI resorts serve beer in. Our motto is if your beer is getting hot you are drinking too slow wink.gif

We ordered 22 oz. cups in orange with white art and they look fab. Use "sale04" to get a discount on the site below.

The site I got those visuals from is Coffee Mugs, Shot Glasses, Wine Glasses, Beer Mugs, Promotional Products, Tote Bags, Champagne Glasses, Wedding Favors , Sports Bottles, T-shirts, Promotional Pens & personalized Glassware. and I have also seen samples from www.4imprint.com on the forum. I love both of them, I would def. get the mugs if I knew that people would use them after, but if people are just going to throw them away when they get home then I would just get the cups b/c they are a lot cheaper. It is just like the OOT bags.... do you get something cheap just for use at the resort or something nice and hope that they use it again? ARGHHHHH!!!!!

Exactly! We are leaning towards getting nice straw totes for $8 each but hope everyone will use them again. We are only giving out bags one to a room. That's why we opted for the stadium cups.. they are cheaper and they can be used for a variety of things. Even their kids can use them when they get home. We have some stadium cups that we got from the bars in Key West. We still use them after 4 years!

Good Luck!

sfrench- i totally think people would use them again at home.. definitely over a stadium cup. We use travel mugs for alot of things, which is also why we didnt put our logo or names across them - so people can use them again. We just did a palm tree and the location of our wedding. I think its so worth the extra money. I think its more a canadian thing but you won't find many of us that don't travel with a travel mug to keep our drinks cold longeR!!

we did travel mugs, ordered them plain and then i made stickers with our logo on it. i figured people are more likely to use it again at home once they peel the sticker off.

my guests took their travel mugs everywhere, on the beach, in the pool, in the ocean. so i think having the lid was much better than just a cup, kept water and sand out of the drink. ours were insulated and worked pretty well keeping the drinks cold considering how hot it was outside. the mug was still bigger than the dinky cups they give you at AI.

we also saw about half our guests right before we left for the trip to give them their OOT bags, less for us to pack.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
