Cigars as favors?

Is it okay to give cigars as favors for guys? I know that most of them don't smoke cigarettes but does it mean they will not smoke cigars either?

I was just thinking of giving pachminas for women and something manly for guys... so far I can only come up with cigars...

I think cigars are a good idea. I was considering having cigars rolled at the reception for the guys...and any girls that would be interested. I say go for it.

We gave cigars as favors for the guys -- and EVERYONE loved it! Including the girls -- who stole some puffs :-)

I just tied an organza bow around them in one of our colors (aqua) so they looked pretty, lol:-)

 

We bought ours and brought them down, but only b/c we had heard mixed things about getting good and "genuine" cuban cigars there... but it turned out our resort had a cigar shop and cigar bar and sold the exact same kind we brought...and for not much more price-wise.

Maybe check with your resort...?

(The mixed things we heard were about cigars sold outside the resorts... that some claim to be real cubans but aren't...etc etc...who knows if that's true or not though :-))

Also, I guess if you're in the U.S (we're in Canada) -- you can't buy Cuban cigars there I don't think...? (if that's what you want...) So maybe it's best to buy them in Mexico if you want Cuban...

That sounds like a good idea So just cigars, I wouldn't be required to get anything else for them? And what did you get for the girls?

I was thinking the same thing, cigars I think are a great manly gift! Something to do at the moment that bonds them together. I plan on buying them at the resort when we get there, a lot of them sell boxes of real cubans!

You should probably get something for the girls too...
We gave the girls lipgloss...but girls are SO much easier to buy gifts for, so ltst of options there :-)

We are going to Cuba so we kinda feel we have to give out cigars! I mean we will be in CUBA! I also bought specialty labels just for cigars and I put our monogram on them , with the date. I will attach them to the cigars once we ge tthere. The labels go roght over the other label if you like and they can be slipped off when smoking! We will also be bringing some home to give out!
