My "My Publisher" cabo vacation book..

Recommended Posts

Ok girls some of you already know and have see it but I thought I would show anyone who is interested.

Ok so My Publisher had (might still be) a special going on for two books for the price of one (same book layout) So I decided it was a good way to test out the company before I get our professional wedding pictures back. I ended up spending $80.00, the first 20 pages were included in the price (I ordered the 54.99 book with extra pages & 2.99 each)

Pros:

Software super easy to use

Easy download

Many different book types and page layouts to pick from

Quality of pages are great

Book quality prefect for what I wanted

Cons:

Once you set your pages in place you can't move them around

They added two extra pages at the end of the book that were blank

I kind of wish I could drag one picture across both pages

Ok so here is the book finished (it actually arrived today in the mail)

Hi Tammy - you can move the pages. When you're in the "make book" section, go to "all page view" and drag the pages to whatever order you like.

That's wierd that they added pages. You should complain to customer service.

Also, there is a special offer for 50% orders over $100 (before the coupon) or 25% off orders over $50. The coupon is VAL2550. You can use it on as many books as you like through the end of June and you can order a different book each time (I did that for each family member).

I agree - I wish I could make a full page spread; however, if you did that, it would be distorted unless you shot it with a panoramic lens.

Oh - one thing that was really hard for me to figure out (the duh factor), if you want to make a book that is a derivative (but different than) one already made, you just go to save as and give it a different name so you don't have to start from scratch.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
