Reception centerpieces for rtb

Recommended Posts

Hey ladies, I am so exited to be getting married at the RTB on July23 2010, I am in the process of getting all of my confirmations now......I wanted to know if there were any brides out there that brought in their own centerpieces for the semi-private receptionhuh.gif?? I really want to bring in my own DIY centerpieces just to add a little personalization to my reception table, I wanted to know if anyone has done this before, and if so how well did it go overhuh.gif??

I am getting married at RIU Negril, and I know I have read on several other post that you can bring your own centerpieces. Also I spoke to RIU and they also said you can bring your own decorations. I plan on bringing my own extra decorations for the reception myself. Sorry I can't tell which post I read that is, as I read several on this forum, but pretty sure you are allowed to do that. You can always email RIU and ask questions. I have been doing that and getting the answers I need within a day.

yea I had to email RIU to ask about outside photographers, to ensure we can bring them in. She said not problem, just have to pay for the day pass. Also when I talk about email RIU, I am emailing the email address on your confirmation email, not the Wedding Coordinator. She mentioned the WC will reach out to me next year, so I will start emailing her early January with particular questions. But general questions I have just been emailing the sales office.

No Problem Lara, since we are all getting married next summer, we can share any info we might get in advance. From my understanding even though we are getting married at two different RIU resorts in Negril, they all prett much operate the same way. By the way, who did you book for your pictures? I booked Marcia Roberts.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
