My FI needs major cooling off time too. I will usually write an email telling him how I feel. This will usually break the ice, no matter whose fault I think it is, or who needs to apologize...

I thought the footsie thing would work...but I guess he would have to be in bed with me for that to happen...

 

Long story short...yesterday he laid in bed (after work) and slept...when I was going up to bed...he decided he wanted to watch Monday Night Raw on the big screen..and so the couch (which we vowed never to sleep on overnight) provided his warmth....WTF..so yes I wrote an email today (would have hand written it lil reeves, got your advice to late frown.gif)...

 

But hopefully it expressed what I was truley feeling...

Awww I have been following along and I have my fingers crossed that this works!! I'm sure it'll be over with soon....some people just take longer to come around and realize that they need to remember where it all started - you love each other and that's all that's important right now.

dshayes, I think your FI must be my FI's twin. When we fight it takes a loooong time for him to get over it too. Just give him his space and he will get over it. As far as the wedding goes, um my FI must have cancelled my about a billion times (privately of course) and once the fight is over he wants to know what was accomplished during the fight. They just know that saying that totally destroys us. Stay strong!! keep us posted

Is he just making you suffer or do you think maybe he's waiting for an apology or something? It's so childish for him to do this to you. Maybe you do need to be a bit more aggressive about this. He clearly knows how much this is hurting you and no matter the argument this is not fair. Unless there were serious boundaries crossed no one needs this kind of space. It's talk time...

 

Sorry to sound harsh, I just feel so bad that you are going through this and really hope things can be on the mend soon!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
