Do you have an aloe plant.? that is good for the burning and pain as well. Use cocoa butter for the scaring and keep it dry. I am the queen of burns.. hope it feels better for you and you wont be on the drugs for much longer

I am SO glad the forum is back up!!!! I leave a week from tomorrow, and I know there's still a lot I need from here!!

I was thinking about the fact that I don't post too many times, and how much I hated the forum being down- I can just imagine how those of you who post tons were feeling!!!

Is that what you decided to name him? That's my nephew's name!!! Yay! :)

I have a close friend who's preggo and I was surprised to hear that you can take vicodin when you're pregnant, but her doc ok'ed it as well. Interesting.

Glad to hear you're doing better Tammy. thewave.gif

aww Tammy, I'm sorry your hand got hurt! That sucks being in the ER...always takes forever. FYI, I know tons of people that have taken Vicodin in pregnancy, it's ok...you need to take care of yourself too!

Thanks for getting us back up and running!

I am so happy the forum is up and running. At first I thought I was banned for not posting enough or something. I feel for you Tammy. I seem to ALWAYS burn my hands when I cook and I know how badly it hurts however not so bad that I have to go to the ER but a burn is one of the most painful things you can to to yourself. I hope it gets better soon.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
