Can someone give me the low down on reception music?

If we bring an IPOD complete with playlist to RIU Montego Bay do they provide a docking station and sound system?

Is the music loud enough to dance to and enjoy?

Are there options of where you can set everything up?

    Any info much appreciated.

So you have a travel agent you can ask? I asked the same questions to mine just yesterday. We're staying at Beaches, Negril and she said that there is an IPOD docking station and that it would be loud enough to dance to and enjoy. She said that it's also possible to rent out projectors with the resort if you wanted to do a slide show.

I used my iPod at RMB for our beach reception. They provide a speaker with an iPod hook-up, and it was plenty loud enough. I believe they use the same set-up if you want to use an iPod for the ceremony.

We brought along our Bose Docking station. It was loud and crisp. Not sure what the ROR uses, but from what I hear, you can hook it up using an AUX wire.

It would have to be plenty loud...Im guessing the wing and the waves from the beach could make for some loud background sounds.

Yes, you can just bring your ipod and if you have a private beach reception you do have the option on using their speakers for music.
