Yes... our resort said the same thing. We can just leave them at the front desk and they will hand them out as our guests are checking in. I know the hotel will have a list of our guests and rooms but what if guests decide to upgrade while checking in? Then the OOT bag would be in the wrong room.

That is what we were going to do, hand them out as people check in. We actually went to a wedding in jamaica that was the 1st time i'd been to a DW(which i was so insanely excited because as much as it had always been my dream to have one i'd never had the chance to go to one lol)

soo...when we checked in they gave us our bag and we were shocked, because it was something people dont expect it just sets off the mood and excitement to be at your wedding, they actually put a lei(spelling?) on us too and gave us our bags..it was like the jumpoff. lol

just speaking from a guest perspective that was how we felt

So you mean the front desk employees hand them out? That's sure solves the problem if they get bumped to a different room. And you can always check w/ the front desk to make it's being done, and since there aren't more people involved, which usually means more screw ups, should work out the best. Thanks.

I LOVE Candice's idea of the hand delivery to the rooms!!!

I, also, love your name & spelling of it haha!

Dreams charges $4 per room for delivery, that was my first option. Now I'm thinking of getting the travel info of my guest prior to their arrival and meeting them at check in. I know its a hassle but I figured it would be a personal touch. Especially since they are flying out for our wedding

The Sheraton in Cabo is charging a 3.50 fee just for delivering the bags. I thought that can get expensive if you have a lot of bags to deliver. I'm not sure what we are gonna end up doing but I'm gonna try to see if they are willing to hand out the bags at the reception desk to avoid a fee. Just cutting down the costs wherever I can :)

My guests are arriving on different days so i'm thinking about asking the front desk to hand them out as each guests checks in or will notify guests that we will be at a certain bar everyday at like 4pm and hand them out there. I originally thought about meeting each guest when they check in but I really don't want to be looking at the clock all the time. I just want to relax!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
