Spanx vs Victoria Secret body shapers- POLL

So what one works better? I'm wearing a form fitting dress from the waist down (top is loose fit) to two weddings and want to get something for support for my lower half so I feel more comfortable.

I liked the spanx it was lighter weight material and was more comfortable for me.

I can't contribute to a comparison, b/c I have never tried the VS body shaper. But I can tell you I really like Spanx. I have a pair of the mid thigh shapers, it is kinda like a pair of high-waisted biker shorts. It is very light weight and breathes, but has a lot of support.

I've tried Spanx too and, like Karla, I've liked the mid-thigh ones.

LOVE the high waist shaper from VS! It is the ONLY thing I wear! I think that the spanx aren't as effective for me, although they are lighter. So it depends on how much suck in factor you're looking for, and i'll tell you, vs's shaper will pick up your bum like nothin else! or if you need a little smoothing, it helps with bumps and lumps, too!

Has anyone tried the victoria secret embracer waist cincher thong? I wondered how good it is? I think i'm going to wear a garter, so i am worried about getting a thigh shaper

Maidenform also has a really good shaping line and it is about half the cost of spanx. I use their shapers and really like them.

I will suggest the victoria's secret one, only because skirt shapers tend to rise when you sit and walk, so you might have to make a few more trips to the bathroom. Also the Victoria's secret one is firm control, while the Spanx is light control, so just decide on how much support you will like.

 

As for the thong one, I've tried it, fits really nice, only thing is it makes your butt look huge, compared to the tiny waist it gives you LOL.
