Hey,

My name is Michelle and my fiance and I are getting married Jan 10, 2008 at DT.

This forum is AWESOME!!! I'm so happy I found it. I can't wait to read the reviews from the upcoming weddings at DT. Just a quick question has anyone used the associate photographer working with sol tamargo?? If so how was he?? I think his name is Vincent. I have seen some of his photos on the forum and they look amazing. I am thinking about booking him for our wedding. Any info would be great. Thanks a bunch Michelle.

Thanks for the warm welcome!!

We are living in Australia for the yr while my fiance goes to teacher's college. We are from Hamilton, ON and are actually going home for a visit next week. I am SO excited!!! We've been here for 6 mths now and i'm a little homesick. Not to mention what a pain it has been trying to plan our wedding. I'm hoping to get a bunch of the planning done on the visit. We feel in love with Matt and Sol's work and figured anyone that works for them would have to be amazing as well, so we decided last night to go with their associate (Vincent) I'm super excited that he is available!!!

For the DT brides have you decided where you will have your reception?? I really wanted to have it on the beach, but my mom pointed out if it's windy our guest will be eating sand with their dinner. Now i'm not sure what I want to do. Any suggestionshuh.gif

Cheers Mich

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
