We are doing chocolate seashells. I am buying them in bulk locally and bagging them myself...they should work out to about $2 per guest.

We are having a photobooth and guests get to keep a copy of their photos and the other copy goes in our guestbook for them to sign beside it.

We are doing personalized shot glasses from favorfavor.com.  They have a silhouette of a palm tree and our names & wedding date.  They are really cute and actually ended up being quite large! Larger then a normal shot glass.  We also got a deal for a photo booth- one of those that prints out 4 pics on a strip of paper.  Groupon.com had a coupon awhile back that was super discounted so we went ahead and did it! It was truly the only thing I wanted for the AHR!

I want to try and do something Mexican themed, but I think it might be too pricey. We will have to wait and see. I like the candy idea though.

We are going to order Maracas from amols.com (http://www.amols.com...g/product/MX702).  They are $1.65 for a pair and they have a simple design and say "mexico" on them.  We are going to give one per guest, and they'll have a tag on them that says

"Instead of tapping on your glass,

here's a system with Mexican class...

stand and shake with all your might,

to see the groom kiss his bride tonight!"

This could be a more economical idea for you to think about that involves a little "flare" from Mexico?

We've also just added Koozies to our AHR favor list! We had to have a minimum order of 250 koozies so since there are only 20 people going to mexico the koozies have made the AHR favor list :)
