For those of you that have read my posts, we i mean i have constantly been toying with the decision we made to elope to Hawaii and hold a AHR on our return leaving our families at home.Just two weekends ago we took Pauls girls shopping and the excitement at them trying on party/wedding dresses for the AHR had me thinking i cant leave them at home. After reading posts on here that you guys had enjoyed your AHR but it had been a huge lot of work and you could of lived without it i got to thinking im doing this just so the girls can dress up as bridesmaids.Even though id given myself a hard time over it i knew cost would play a huge part.I couldnt justify leaving them here and then paying for a venue/band/food /invites for when we got home

SOOOOOOOOOO last weekend i made my no going back decison!!!!

Right now ive been making plans for our family wedding in GREECE sept 2010

right from the start i didnt want a big wedding ive done that!!!

I have found a place in zante named the PELIGONI CLUB.(sorry i dont know how to post a link) It is perched on the cliff edge over looking the island of keferlonia and the ocean and offers watersports a place to eat a small spa and a pool.It serves villas that you can hire.We are going to hire Stouvega which sleeps 18 basically all our children (6) in total our 2 friends and our parents and my brother. We can get married at the club they did there first wedding in june and have our reception there too.I am so excited that i can now share my excitement with our children and my boys girlfriends. We had already booked a week in Zante in June so we can take some wedding stuff out with us,although i really am keeping it simple.

The accomodation for a week is £3,000 and flights are about £200 each then to use the club is £50 each plus the watersports on top.OH and of course the wedding costs

Im happy our children will get to see us married and to be honest it will very probably be our last holiday together as my eldest is 22 and chloe pauls youngest is 5

Paul and i have the rest of our lives to find Hawaii we will go there for sure maybe to retake our vows !!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
