CONFUSED LADIES HELP!! Dreams Punta Cana or Iberostar Bavaro?

Hi ladies!

 

My FI and I have not booked anything for sure yet, and we thought we decided. Now I'm second guessing myself when I see things about the beach not being the same as Bavaro beach, etc... What are your thoughts? Is Iberostar Bavaro a better wedding ceremony? We are doing it on the beach 100%, so thats why the beach is so important for us!! Any feedback from Dreams PC brides or Iberostar Bavaro Brides on their experiences, and which I should choose! We are going to get married in early July, 2010.

 

Thanks so much! I am also trying to find some wedding pictures of Iberostar Bavaro, so if anyone has any I could see (especially of the beach ceremony) I would REALLY appreciate it!!

Hi There,

 

We are getting married at the Iberostar Bavaro next March. We looked at all of the different resorts within Punta Cana and found this resort to have the best value. The resort is parked on a beautiful length of sand and there were lots of accommodation options for our guests to choose from. As an example, my Aunt and Uncle (without Children) may choose to stay at the Iberostar Grand Bavaro, whilst some of my friends on a tighter budget can stay at theIberostar Punta Cana or the Dominicana. We are finalizing the guest list and sending out the last of the invitations - we can't wait to be married.

 

The other item which drew us to this resort was the award it won from Trip Advisor for being the Best Budget Value for 2008.

Irishamber, have you had any issues with guests staying at the other Iberostar resorts? I have some that would like to stay at Iberostar Punta Cana, but I was not sure if they would have to pay a fee (or anything similar) to be able to be at Iberostar Bavaro for the wedding, or even just to come hang out for a few hours. I was about to email the resort, but I figured I would check here first! Thanks.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
