    Hi everyone,

I am thinking of having a destination wedding. I would like to either do aruba, bahamas, or St. John, St. marteen....i wanted to find out if i have 30 people how much approx would you guys think that would cost me?

has anyone had a small wedding at an island and how much did everything run you? im trying to figure out if a wedding here would be the same price as a destination.

Congrats and to the forum! That's a tricky question to answer only because there are SOOO many variables that will go into your cost factor. For example, are you doing a private dinner that you have to pay per person, depending on the resort you choose they have differences in price for wedding packages, decorations, do you plan on hiring a dj, photographer, etc.
We all have a different vision of what the "perfect" wedding is, so it becomes really difficult to compare. I know that doesn't exactly help you, but hopefully it will help you narrow down your questions. Good luck!!

Congrats and welcome! Start emailing some WC at the places you are looking at to inquire about their packages with prices and what their a la carte items cost. That's the best way to start figuring out what it will cost you. Also look into what the airfare will cost to each place around the time frame you plan on getting married there.
