Hopefully somebody on here is crafty ernough to come up with a solution to this problem for me....it's an uh oh. My bm's were told that they could get any style of dress they wanted...as long as it was either horizon blue or no more than one shade off (they got the dresses from davids bridal, and the dress colors coordinate really pretty when they are of altering shades.) And they had to be chiffon.
Anyways, my MOH has a dress that's horizon, but my other BM came in with a dress that's pool blue.....way, way different. I can't tell her not to wear it, but they in no way go together.
Does anybody have any idea on how to make these colors work together?|

What dress styles did they pick? Can you add sashes? Like have the MOH have a pool sash with her horizon dress and the BM wear a horizon sash with her pool dress. I think the two colors look fine together!

I agree with Ginalyn.. i think that would be a great idea if they are add-able! Do you have a pic?! That may help some too.

Maybe can you stick another BM in between them so it isnt such a difference? (not sure if you have more than 2 bm's)

I don't think it will be too bad. Especially since it's the MOH that has a different dress color- she will stand out from the other ladies but she will also play a bigger role. I second the idea of using a pool sash to tie the colors all together.

That's where my problem is. I can't add sashes to either on of their dresses. My computer doesn't want to let me add pictures tonight, so here's the link to both dresses. Tell me what you think!
Haha....looks like they've both gone on sale since the girls bought them....I'll have to not divulge that information to them...
              this one's in pool.
David's Bridal - Short Satin Yoryu Dress

              And this is in Horizon.

David's Bridal - Strapless chiffon short dress with ruched bust and asymmetrical hem.

              Hopefully these links work....

I think having two different shades of dresses is pretty (heck my bridesmaids are wearing three different colors!). If you can't add a sash then maybe the ribbon around their bouquet and be that of the other bridesmaid? You can also tie them in by jewelry. I think it will look very pretty even if they are left as is. :)

I think both are great dresses. Jewelry is also a great idea to tie them together. I think that they would look just fine next to each other.

I think they look great together. They are different hues, but still beautiful together. It will make your MOH stand out from the other BMs and save a possible fight.

I actually think the dresses look good together just as they are. I don't think it should be a problem at all. Good luck!
