Hey everyone, we got back from our wedding last week, and let me just say that hiring Sasha Gluck was one of the best decisions we ever made!!! He was phenomenal to work with, A+++++!!!!!  And he gave us a few sneak peaks of pics throughout the day and they were truly unbelievable shots. I'll be sure to share once we receive our pics!!

@@UMassRN007 - CONGRATS!!!! Thanks so much for posting your feedback about him. This makes us feel even more confident!!!  I can't wait to see your pics!  We got to meet him while we were down for a recent site inspection and he was so helpful and great!  If you don't mind my asking, how many hours did you have him for? I'm trying to figure out how long we should go with.  I don't think I want a ton of getting ready shots but don't want to do 30 min if that limits the shots. Also, I'm not sure about how far into the reception we will need him.  Any feedback/insight into your schedule is greatly appreciated! Thanks & CONGRATS again!

We hired Sascha from 2p-10p. Our ceremony started @ 4. If I could go back, I probably would start only an hour before the ceremony. It was great to have all that time to relax and take fun pics with the girls, but how many getting ready pics can I put in an album lol.. Also, we didnt do first look pictures, so maybe you would need that much time if that's something you're considering.

We  had 2 hours of time between the ceremony and the reception for cocktail hour, group photos etc. I think that was the fun part. Sascha had us all over the place taking amzing sunset pictures!

Our reception was from 7p-11p, and I think having him leave at 10 was fine. I mean theres always a chance you could miss a funny moment, but by that time I was a hot sweaty mess anyway

*Also, while you and the girls are taking pics with Sascha, his assistant is off taking pics with the groom and groomsmen. His assistant is just as wonderful!

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
