The Cheering Squad (whenever you workout)

So I know that we all want to look amazing and we are all starting to workout!! I wanted a place where we can post the good and the bads from our workouts and get a boost from others who are in the same boat (be it good or bad).

 

I'll start: I did turbo jam learn and burn last night because it was only 20 min long compared to my normal p90x which is usually around an hour. I really liked the punching and kicking stuff!! I even found myself doing punches and the ab stuff they taught me throughout the day, but it didn't even come close to hurting me as bad as the p90x ab ripper plus does. I hate and love the pain i feel from doing that!

 

How did everyone elses workouts go today??

Today I did Carmen Electra's fit to strip workout. I liked the ab workouts, but I'm not even going to lie, when it came to doing the lunges I wanted to hop through the screen and rip her hair out....wehen you tell me I have one set left and then proceed to have me do 4 more sets of 8 before calling it good, I have a tendency to yell inappropriate things at the television.

I am heading to the gym at 11 to do my circuit training, and so hopefully that will make me feel better about my bad attitude during cardio earlier...

I am doing the P90X workout and I find the best thing about it is that I can yell all sorts of obscene things at Tony, and he just keeps on motivating me! It's great!

I got in my morning cardio(surprisingly). Later, I have to work chest...then more cardio. 4 more weeks to competition time!

Great Job Ladies- Brandy-- I've done the Carmen thing and found that she was way to boring and slow for me. EDR-- my mother would put me into a time out for all of the terrible things that I say to Tony Horton, lol, but he gets the job done. SSNM-- WOW you are seriously motivated and I LOVE it!

 

Keep it up-- You all put me to shame I haven't done anything since I wrote last. I better get back to working on that!

Today got in my back workout and 45 minute cardio...later will be a 35 minute cardio and hopefully I don't skimp out on my abs and calves (again).

Today I went to the gym to do my aqua class, and the instructor was a no-show.

 

However everyone who showed up decided we would do it ourselves. It was fun we took turns selecting a move and worked out for the entire time.

Good job ladies! I just started P90X today. I agree about the ab ripper x, it's brutal but I sooo need it!

Hey ladies, good to see theres others needing to shed a few last pounds. I recently bought Jillian Michaels (from the biggest loser) 30 day shred. The work outs are only 22 minutes long, but i feel like i get more out of them than I do spending 45 minutes running at the track. I have only been doing them for a few short weeks and I already can tell a difference in my legs. Plus, it was only $10 on amazon, instead of the much higher prices of some of the other videos!

I just got back from Las Vegas so I am going to be needing to do a workout really bad today! For all of you that are getting out and doing it thats great! You motivate me to keep on going! Mel I LOVE the P90x and I put a posting to extra worksheets on the p90x thread on here if you need some!

 

Our engagment photos are on friday so I need to get a couple workouts in between now and then! Keep it up ladies doing great!
