Can I just chime in... Not to sound rude but we never had so many excuses in the past regarding why we can't weigh in. We should just be weighing in no matter what the circumstance unless it's an emergency or we're going to be away or something. But not weighing in bc your weight is gonna stress you out is just not cool IMO. Kinda defeats the purpose you know. I hope I didn't offend anyone.

It's not that (personally) I get stressed. To be honest I gain engouh weight that next week my results would be completely skewed (since I would be down all of my water weight, and hopefully then some). I agree that it is frustrating that every week we have a few people not weighing in for whatever reason... but this is supposed to be a positive an encouraging place for all who are participating. My personal opinion on the matter! :)

I agree, Ashley. I mean, isn't that part of the reason why we're all in this predicament ... because we make excuses about why we can't exercise, why we can't eat better. We're too busy, not enough money, too stressed, etc. When in reality, we're just not doing what we should be doing and what will get the results! I mean, who cares if the scale is up or down or whatever, it's all about accountability!

Alright ladies, I'm out. I've got some health problems that I need to get under control and I already have enough deadlines and people I need to be accountable to. I don't need to feel like shit because I couldn't post something online due to power failures, something completely out of my control.

Sorry if I sound like a bi*ch, but I'm really having a shit week, and this isn't helping. So I'm out. I'll do much better on my own IMO.

Good luck on the your continued losses ladies!

I thought I was being accountable by emailing that I had to miss a week. If its a big issue then I can pull out too. I was under the impression that as long as we like let you know we would be missing a week for some reason that it was ok, it was the no notice missing that would be an issue?

Stephanie you're correct, that I should be notified in advance if you are going to miss a week. To clarify, Stephanie and Natasha you are not held accountable because you did notify me that you would miss this past week. Which is why in the results I indicated <nothing recevied, OK> meaning that I received your emails or PMs. Next time I will change the way I word the results to make it more clear.

I'm going to keep the weigh ins on Wednesdays.

Thank you for clarifying this Ginalyn, since some people obviously missed it. I think it was clear enough, but perhaps now that you state this, the meaning of the <ok> next to someones name will be understood.

Denise, I completely agree, personal lives and health issues sometimes get in the way and those that miss a week for whatever reason shouldn't be made to feel bad for missing a week.

I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad for missing a week. Like Ann said, I just found it frustrating that OVERALL (not talking about specific people) I did not receive many for this week. My ask is just that you take a look at your calendars and upcoming Wednesdays and let me know in advance if you know you will be missing some due to your wedding or whatever. Thank you to those of you who have already sent me some days you know you are going to miss.

I want this contest to be fun so I'm sorry if it came off as negative. I look forward to Wednesdays/Thursdays as a host because I get to see all the amazing results!!! You all are doing a fabulous job and I want you to keep up the awesome work.

Ginalyn I wasn't meaning you... you are fantastic! :) I mean others who have missed weeks themselves and are now making others feel bad about it... I dont need to name names, you know who you are! I think the comment made by this person has a sour taste in some peoples' mouth, and is causing some dropouts. To me, THAT is not cool.

I don't want anyone to drop out! :) I want to try to beat all of you!muscle.gif lol I say let's all just get back on track for this week and let it go. I need you all for motivation. bunny_4.gif On my own I'll never get anything done.

So, I was sick the past week and did nothing but lay around and eat chocolate. I'm getting remotivated and trying to get back on track starting tomorrow. So, I'm sticking to the stairs challenge for the week and I added for myself that I would park in the first open parking space available every time I have to park in a parking lot. That way I'll have to walk farther to the door!

Ginalyn, thanks for taking the time to calculate everything each week. smile03.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
