yeah ginalyn the weekly weigh ins were only your feet on the scale, but before and after pics were full body.

have we decided the before & afters were mandatory to be sent to at least you? i guess i can live with that (you're the one who will suffer, lol) but i'd rather not post them online unless i'm pretty well clothing covered, kwim?

Someone (I forgot who) had suggested that the pictures be sent to me since there was drama last season. I still don't really know what happened last season, but I don't need to and don't want to know. If you don't want to post them online then you can email them directly to me. Just PM me and I can send you my email address. I won't save them down, I will merely move them all to a folder in my inbox. I don't mind if you are clothing-covered in the pictures as long as you aren't wearing super baggy clothing and I can tell that you are the same person in the before and after (and hopefully you all will have acheived super fantastic results!). Is everyone ok with that?

I am open to suggestions, so if anyone else has any thoughts idea.gif
feel free to speak up!

This might sound strange, but I'm not sure how I feel about sending someone I don't know a picture of myself, unless I'm totally covered by clothing, which would prob. defeat the purpose of the photo. I've posted photos on the forum before showing my weight loss, but they had my head cut off. lol And I deleted them shortly after. Just wondering what you guys are thinking for your photos?

If you have some sort of tatoo or other body marking that would tell me that the pic is of you, then I don't see a problem with you cutting your head off...

For those of you who participated in prior seasons, did you include your faces? Like I posted in the rules, I won't be sharing pictures with anyone.

For the Before and After pics though, you send a pic of your full body, correct?

Thank you for clarification Jacilynda!! And thank you to everyone for bearing with me as the new host. I am still learning!
Just so you know how it was done in the past, let me clarify. There were 2 sets of pictures ... 1) the before and after pictures (whole body, faces not necessary) and 2) the weekly weigh-ins.

1) the before and after pictures were never mandatory, and i rarely saw any of them. many girls didn't do it at all, and some just kept them in their own personal files for reference and motivation. a brave few posted them for all to see ... they really were great to see the progress, and i am sure they really motivated the other girls, as well as the individual

2) the weekly weigh ins were the ones that were sent to me every Wednesday. this was usually just a picture of the scale and your feet. of course there's the risk that people will cheat, but you can only be so cautious. these were often done via cell phones since that was usually easiest!

so, that's how it was done in the past - but feel free to do it however you want this season!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
