Wow. Seriously wow. Im not sure if I want to be part of this challenge. Theres a lot of negativity flowing in this thread, and I feel like its being a bit catty. There are rules that were put in place about not weighing in, so there really is no need to call people out. Sure you didnt name specific people, but since it is posted who didnt weigh in..you pretty much are calling people out.

We all are planning weddings, and some are in a few short weeks...imo its human to have it slip your mind. Especially when your having wedding crisis situations like I did this week. This morning is when it finally crossed my mind...crap I didnt weigh in. If I knew I was missing sure I'd of contacted Gina, but since Im more worried about finding a wedding dress in 9 days, and running my dog to the vets to figure out why she so sick... it wasnt even close to what I was thinking about. Just keep in mind, we dont know what others are going through.

Wow I thought this was a forum where one could speak their minds. If my comment made someone feel like they wanted to drop out I apologize for you taking it that way. But that's not want I meant from it.

I actually thought that what I said could have been motivational w/o having smiley faces all around it.

I could have sworn that I said if you have like emergencies or your wedding (like i'm gonna miss a week for mine) than of course that's the norm (and yes clearly I missed the 1st week bc I forgot so no one's perfect but I am trying to stay on the ball since then) But for reg monthly probs we really should still be weighing in.

Sorry if I pissed anyone off but I stand behind what I said. I really hope that you guys don't quit BL bc of my comment. Even if you are upset with me BL is way bigger than me you know. (I feel like I'm going into social worker mode) But you should never let what one person says to you deter you from your goal.

On that note, im not a fan of all of this negativity. And every time I visit this page the last few days it just pisses me off more and more and I try to bite my tongue. So im over the drama, im out.

While some of you may disagree with where the drama is, I do agree that there is way too much drama lately. I mean, c'mon, someone stated their opinion (and one I agree with, for the record) and people start stomping their feet and pouting and whining. This is the reason I quit hosting; I got sick of the excuses and the drama. Just put on your big girl panties and do what you intended to do ... get healthier! That's what it's all about anyway, right?

My excuse was accepted by the host, and thats all that there is to it. For the rest, I don't know what is going on, and like Sgt Pepperette said, this is starting to get way too negative. Personal opinions are just that... personal. If someone can't weigh in, ultimately, its only that person who doesn't weigh in that is missing out (if it isn't for a good reason).

Now, lets get this back on track! :) How is everyone doing with the stairs challenge? By the way, parking far away is a good idea too, since we are all running around doing stuff for our weddings we are definitely parking our cars somewhere! :)

Wow...

Hey is there any way I can take the place of someone who has dropped out? I have been silently following this thread thinking that I would join the next season in time for my contest prep for my April 2010 show. If it doesn't make sense to then I can wait until next season. Let me know!

wtf is going on here? geez ladies, put things into perspective. i thought taking the monetary prize out of it would end the drama, but clearly i was wrong.

looks like it doesn't take much for hungry girls to get cranky! hehe

big picture, ladies. do any of you *really* care whether anyone sends in their weight every week or not? worry about YOURSELF. bottom line, sending your weight in weekly is only there for the accountability factor. don't *not* send your weight in because you've gained, for whatever reason. gaining should make you all the more motivated to have a big loss the following week. and we are all here to share in each other's successes AND struggles, and to offer compassion and helpful hints. this is supposed to be about support!

p.s. notifying ginalyn if you cannot send in your weight is just to be courteous so she's not left wondering and waiting. two *consecutive* weeks (for any reason, even *with* notification) should result in a DQ.

Well, I am still not able to get on the forum regularly to participate in the thread, so I am withdrawing. It isn't really a big help/motivation if I'm not able to be an active member of the thread.

On a side note, I really don't understand how this thread turned so neg in a couple of days. Some people seem to be egging this on... I hope that this can stop. Ginalyn, thanks for taking time out of your week to keep track of everyone's stats. I can't even imagine what a big job that must be. Anyway, Good luck to all the girls participating!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
